DESIGNED BY: CESAR A. Vides GONZALEZ
PROGRAMS: ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR AND ADOBE PHOTOSHOP
In 2016, I was recently invited to a patch based project from a website called "Creative Action Network" and i was honored to design from past, present or future times!
Space Horizons, an innovative non profit that promotes interest in STEM education for minority and female students in underserved communities. Space Horizons is a new collection of mission patch designs for your favorite past, present and future missions to help engage a new generation in the excitement of extending humanity’s reach beyond Earth.
I choose to do STS-31 why you may ask? well "To Infinity and Beyond" is what I see in the Hubble Telescope, a true piece of art that is! I was always amazed on how the Hubble Telescope can find all of these millions and millions of galaxies and planets that are habitable for us!
Coming from a place where mission control is held here in Houston,TX I decided to dedicate this illustration to the famous satellite! I decide to go with a trapezoid border look to the design, also with the planets popping out, it makes the design turn out great and fun to look at! I was going to chose random colors for the shading of it all until I found my interests in the darker oranges since it was the fall season!
To view more the campaign and to purchase prints, the link is down below and thank you for viewing my illustration! Enjoy!
